I have been a Metallica fan since I was a young kid and my uncle drove me and my cousin around in his Chevy conversion van blaring Metallica albums and full volume. The tempo and speed was exciting and I could not get enough.
Of course, my parents would suggest he turn the volume down so we don’t go deaf. Well, maybe it was from that or maybe something else but I’m now 40 years old and my hearing is still pretty decent.
I am still listening to Metallica all these years later. In 2018 I finally had the chance to see them live at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, WI. They played all their old hits and introduced the venue to music from their new album. If they come to your city, don’t worry about the money, buy the tickets! See Metallica before they retire. They aren’t getting younger, having been making music since before I was born.
